Medallion

Chardonnay $14.99 (Washington)

This wine is a very special Chardonnay grown in the Yakima Valley in Washington State. It is made with just a small amount of wood during fermentation to avoid the over-oaking that is so common in many of todays Chardonnays, especially those under $15 per bottle. This wine does this grape variety full justice as the light wood treatment (actually with Acacia wood) allows the apple and pear flavors of Chardonnay to come to the forefront. If you love Chardonnay, you will love this one. If you do not particularly care for Chardonnay, you may be pleasantly surprised; give it a try.
